Color is one of the important elements in graphic design. In the plastic art science, color can represent the emotion of a work. So the message from the work can be easier accepted by the audience. The color element in graphic design also has the same function. The common example is by analogizing the color to the things around us. For example; the sky = wide = light blue, the sun = bright = light yellow, the wood = old-fashioned, classic = brown, the fire = flaming, flare up, spirit = red. When designed a work, we often find it difficult to find the suit color with the theme or the impression we want. Here I tell you the tips to choose colors, and hopefully it will help you, * First, prepare the theme and the impression you want to use for the design. Whether it’s classic, modern, natural, or another, it depends on your necessity. * Next, find illustrations or photos which will suit your theme. It could be you yourself who took pictures, or taken from free image like Stock Exchange. * Then take a few colors samples from the pictures. * After that arrange your design using your design software: Corel Draw, Photoshop or other software. * Next, use the colors for your design, from the header, the headline, til the background. * Then try a few alternatives for the color composition. * Finally, have a nice try!!
